Candidate Norm Sedig asked me an important question today.
He accuses me of misquoting him. I thank him for his question.
Answer - I did not. I quoted his statement in full context -
“I do have some selfish reasons to continue one more year. But first realize that I still coach tennis because of my passion to coach kids in tennis and be around them." [Norm Sedig]
Please see my full statement here.
I have shown dedication and an unwavering commitment during 20 years on the board. I have done the work, and walked the walk.
The education of our children deserves our best effort.
Nothing has changed.
Park 6 continues to face obstacles related to the CoVID pandemic.
We must place our children's needs first and work together to ensure a safe healthy educational environment.
Many Opportunities to Serve
It has been my honor to serve Park County as a Trustee for 20 years. As an advocate for public education, my focus and interest in the legislative process has grown. My interest in the legislative process is not new. Serving as a Wyoming School Board Legislative Liaison for many years has given me an opportunity to work closely with legislators and state officials. I have attended interim committee meetings, participated in the educational re-calibration process, and testified on many occasions.
While I was not successful in my campaign for State Senate, I am committed to serve. I am seeking re-election to the Park County School District Number 6 Board of Trustees.
I am asking for your support.
I am asking for your vote.
Park County School District No 6 offers educational excellence and I am proud to have served the students in the Cody, Wapiti, and Valley communities for 20 years.
My Priorities are-
Park County School District Number 6
serves all the students in the
western portion of Park County
Park 6 includes the communities up the Northfork and the Southfork.
I am proud to be an advocate for Wapiti and Valley Schools and students.
I will always advocate for all Park 6 students.
